Governance

The Trustees make policy decisions, with the advice of the Board of Advisors, and are responsible for the long-term guidance of Harpswell.

The Executive Director is responsible for implementing policy, maintaining a close relationship with the students, supervising the dormitory Managers and Director of Cham programs, supervising the US-Harpswell fellows, supervising the leadership residents,reviewing the weekly facilities and program reports and monthly financial reports, ensuring continuing quality of the in-house academic program, and helping with fund raising.

The Board of Advisors, who span a range of expertise, give advice on issues of Harpswell.

The Senior Manager is the country director of Harpswell and responsible for all operations in Cambodia, subject to the supervision of the Director.

The Managers of the dormitories are responsible for the emotional and intellectual well being of the students, supervision of the in-house programs, and day-to-day running of the facilities. The managers make weekly facilities and program reports to the Director and monthly financial reports to the Director.

The programs in Tramung Chrum are run on a day-to-day basis by the Director of Cham programs and supervised by the Director and the Officer of Special Projects.
